A holiday villa on an isolated Karuizawa mountain, Mushinbou is covered with vertical grating. Between this grating and the glass patio doors is the villa’s veranda. Opening all the wooden vertical gratings creates a terrace that becomes one with nature. Closing them ensures security and serves as a buffer zone against the elements.
