Notice of Establishment of a Local Subsidiary in Mexico
In February 2025, we established a local subsidiary in Mexico. Plantec started operations in Vietnam in 2011 and Thailand in 2012 and has built up a wide range of experience in ASEAN countries over the past 20 years. With this expansion into Mexico, we aim to achieve further growth in preparation for new challenges
Attractiveness of the Mexican Market
Mexico is an important market with the world’s 10th largest population and 12th largest GDP. In recent years, Mexico’s economic growth has been particularly remarkable, with growth of more than 20% year-on-year. In addition, while many Japanese companies have entered the market, few Japanese general contractors and design firms have entered the market, and we believe there is a great need for our company to contribute.
Plantec’s strength is its human resource network with rich overseas experience.
We have a large number of staff with extensive overseas experience, including licensed Mexican architects and foreign nationals, and we have also built a cooperative system with alliance partners and Mexican companies that are well versed in Mexico. This extensive human resource network enables us to provide high-quality services not only to Mexican companies, but also to companies in neighboring countries such as the United States and Europe.

As a global organization, we want to contribute to solving social issues around the world. Our expansion into the Mexican market is part of that, and we are determined to play a leading role in the field of architectural design.
