AKABANEHOLIC HOTEL

CONCEPT

This is a new construction project for a hotel conveniently located just a minute walk from Akabane Station. By combining materials with a simple design, we constructed an exterior design that does not bury itself in the surrounding area. The exterior is accented by the use of vertical fins, and a large eave is planned at the lower level as the hotel entrance to welcome guests. Perforated metal panels and rattan materials were used for the interior. Orange, which evokes the image of Akabane, was used as an accent color for furniture, signs, lighting, etc. The hotel has an efficient plan that can accommodate up to 365 people on a site area of 220 tsubo, and by planning several types of guest rooms with various functions, including a calm and modern large bathroom, the hotel can be used for any purpose by the guests.
