PROUD Ichibancho 1-chome

This is a project to supervise the design of Nomura Real Estate Development’s “PROUD” brand of multi-family housing. In Miyagi Prefecture, trees bearing edible fruit and cedars were planted at the boundaries of each house to protect the buildings against starvation. In this project, the igune, which have been inherited from the ancient times in Miyagi Prefecture, and the greenery along the banks of the Hirose River and Mount Aoba are considered as a single entity, and incorporated into the building exterior, exterior, and common areas. In addition, various types of louvers were planned for the outdoor stairs at the end of the corridor and on the northeast side of the building in consideration of the view from the neighboring condominiums on the north side, to protect the privacy of the residents and to design the exterior in consideration of the surrounding environment.
