SAMTECH (Thailand) Rest Area Renovation

The employee relaxation area and dojo room were renovated from a section of Factory 1, which is part of an initiative to improve facilities and operations within the organization. The preparation zone includes a safety helmet rack, a staff uniform hanger, and a handwashing area, allowing employees to clean up before using the facilities. The main relaxation area provides spacious seating for up to 54 employees. The nap area is separated from the main resting area by a wooden louver partition, which maintains privacy while still allowing visibility for safety and security purposes. Interior materials and furniture colors were considered for durability and ease of cleaning from factory dirt, as employees are allowed to wear safety shoes in the space. The flooring is finished with grey ceramic tiles, dark-toned laminate for furniture, and the walls are painted with a wipeable, easy-to-clean paint.
