We, Plantec, as a member of the global community, believe that our mission is to contribute to the realization of a better society. If we can not contribute to achieve a better society, there is no significance to our existence.

In order to contribute to society, we need to take action against these diverse challenges such as the global environmental issues, economic stability, responding to globalization, cultural inheritance, countermeasures against international conflicts and disasters, convenient living society through digitalization such as AI, creating a society where people with diversity ​​and backgrounds can work and live together.

Currently, Globalization is accelerating. On top of that, Japan’s national power is declining relatively, not only are Japanese companies expanding overseas, but foreign companies are also increasing their investment in Japan, and internationalization is also progressing domestically.

Under these circumstances, we will be mindful of the whole world and even the universe, take on new challenges, continue to grow, and contribute to society.

Plantec expanded business to Vietnam in 2011, established a subsidiary in Thailand in 2012, and has implemented several innovative architectural design projects mainly in ASEAN countries and also the United States and Mexico. Therefore, we have plans to establish Mexico branch within 2024.

Compared to other major design firms, our key strengths are our extensive experience overseas for more than 10 years and our ability to make proposals based on our deep knowledge of various local conditions, not just support from Japan.

Going forward, we will continue to focus on supporting the facility strategies of Japanese companies’ expansion to overseas bases, and support establishing foreign companies based in Japan. We will propose architectural design solutions that will solve social issues in countries around the world.
