While our clients are mainly Japanese companies, we also have many Vietnamese clients, and Vietnamese, English, and Japanese are spoken in the office. We have two offices, one in Ho Chi Minh City and one in Hanoi, and in 2023 the Ho Chi Minh City office moved to a larger space in the same building. The concept is “Design Labo,” with various innovations and functions. The office has a free address system and is a vibrant environment where communication is easy. |

| Managing Director | Masato Hara In 2012, we opened a local subsidiary in Bangkok. Currently, there are about 20 staff members, half of them have been working at Plantec for over 9 years. We provide working environment where you can work continuously for a long time. Many of our clients are Japanese companies, so documents are prepared and communication between staff is done in English. The office is located in Bangkok’s CBD area and is directly connected to Chong Nonsi BTS station. Our office, which was relocated in 2023, has the concept of “Showcase” which is not only has a variety of functions and ideas but also support the introduction of new materials, equipment, working methods and aims to be a knowledge space for clients, affiliate companies, and employees. While overlooking the panoramic view of Bangkok’s CBD, we provide a comfortable working environment where employees can choose a location that suits their working style that day. |

Notice of Establishment of a Local Subsidiary in Mexico
We are pleased to announce our decision to establish a local subsidiary in Mexico by the end of 2024. Plantec started operations in Vietnam in 2011 and Thailand in 2012 and has built up a wide range of experience in ASEAN countries over the past 20 years. With this expansion into Mexico, we aim to achieve further growth in preparation for new challenges
Attractiveness of the Mexican Market
Mexico is an important market with the world’s 10th largest population and 12th largest GDP. In recent years, Mexico’s economic growth has been particularly remarkable, with growth of more than 20% year-on-year. In addition, while many Japanese companies have entered the market, few Japanese general contractors and design firms have entered the market, and we believe there is a great need for our company to contribute.
Plantec’s strength is its human resource network with rich overseas experience.
We have a large number of staff with extensive overseas experience, including licensed Mexican architects and foreign nationals, and we have also built a cooperative system with alliance partners and Mexican companies that are well versed in Mexico. This extensive human resource network enables us to provide high-quality services not only to Mexican companies, but also to companies in neighboring countries such as the United States and Europe.

As a global organization, we want to contribute to solving social issues around the world. Our expansion into the Mexican market is part of that, and we are determined to play a leading role in the field of architectural design.
