NSK-Warner K.K. Fukuroi Plant (Headquaters) Renovation of Buildings A1 and A2

CONCEPT
This is an office renovation project for the headquarters plant of NSK Warner, an automotive parts manufacturer. The existing office space in the plant was 4.3 m2/employee, which was insufficient for the standard area of 6 to 8 m2/employee. Since the company was planning to move personnel from multiple locations to the headquarters technical headquarters, there was an urgent need to improve office space efficiency. The aging building (30 years old) also posed a challenge to improve the internal environment. Due to the existing building layout and security zones, employee flow lines and office space were divided. One-planning the office space allowed for more active collaboration and communication across departments, while consolidating the offices into one location improved the functionality of the business. In addition, the cafeteria and restrooms were renovated, sanitary facilities were renewed, welfare benefits were enhanced, and a new corporate showroom was established to strengthen branding both internally and externally.
