Tsukuba Plant, Takagi Co Ltd.

Takagi Co Ltd.., headquartered in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is engaged in the water purifier, water sprinkler, and mold businesses. This facility is designed to consolidate the production of mainstay hose reels and water purifier cartridges, as well as warehousing and distribution in the Kanto area, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions during distribution, and to implement BCP measures by having two domestic bases. High-voltage lines run over the site, and the optimal layout plan, building height, and construction methods were studied to avoid these lines and secure the maximum effective space possible for the building. The plant was completed with consideration given to making it easy for employees to work in the common areas and welfare facilities, based on the concept of “providing a workplace where everyone can work happily,” which was also stated in the company’s founding objectives.
