Thai Takeda Lace Head Office

The intent of this project was to build a new Thai office for Takeda Lace Co., Ltd. Headquartered in Fukui City, the company is a top-class manufacturer of lace for innerwear. Adopting a double-skin structure for the facade helps to reduce maintenance and deterioration of the outer wall while increasing the building’s energy efficiency. Aluminum panels inspired by lace add a touch of sophistication and visual appeal to the exterior. Despite the initial plan for a four-story building, the design switched to three stories yet secured the maximum available floor area. By placing all departments together on one floor, the structure promotes smooth internal communication and improved management while generating construction cost savings of 10%.
